Max used to like roaming around and spending his days in the Macalester College library. Unfortunately, some library workers were allergic to cats and the library staff worried about accidentally locking Max in the library overnight. Despite people enjoying MAx’s company, the library had no choice but to ban him from the premises.
Fortunately a used book store nearby heard of Max’s plight and put out a welcome sign offering Max a chance to lounge around the bookstore instead. Now Max is happy, the bookstore is happy to have a cat on the premises, and people are happy to see Max roaming round books all day long.
