In Tryon, North Carolina, police officer Alan Corn spotted a stray cat outside the police dispatcher building and decided to let it in to get it out of the cold.
“The cat followed me like a puppy walking right beside me everywhere I went,” Officer Corn said. “This kitty had the best personality of any cat I’ve ever seen. It was very affectionate, fluffy, soft, and acted more like a little dog than a cat.”
Officers decided to put the kitty to work by letting it help out in the office and taking pictures in hopes that someone would recognize the cat and claim it. Strangely, no one has done so yet so the kitty is now at a relative’s house and temporarily out of the police dispatching building, although if you’re a criminal in North Carolina, be wary of cats reporting your activities to the authorities.
