Black cats get discriminated against, which means shelters often have an abundance of black cats to adopt. Despite their color, black cats can be just as affectionate and loving as any other cat.

Beyond superstition, people are avoiding black cats for another silly reason. Apparently, black cats don’t photograph well when taking selfies. That’s why 67-year old Christine Bayka founded the Moggery centre so she can shelter only black cats and put them up for adoption.

So if you want a black cat, go to the Moggery centre. You may find black cats can be more loving than actual people.
