While a carpenter cut planks and nailed them to form a staircase, Sverre the cat got overly curious and peeked inside. That’s when the carpenter nailed the staircase closed and accidentally trapped the cat inside without knowing it.
When the family came home, they looked for Sverre everywhere and finally heard a faint meowing from behind a wall. A neighbor brought a drill and helped cut a hole in the wood so Sverre could get out.
Sverre is now doing well, but this shows you what happens if cats really do get too curious for their own good.
