At the animal shelter in Shelbyville, Indiana, Max Dyar got adopted by a family 2004 but they returned him earlier this year. Since then, Max has resisted attempts to adopt him to a new family. Now shelter officials decided it’s easier just to adopt Max as the official shelter cat instead. Shelter officials started posting news about Max and now he’s become an Internet celebrity.
“I have noticed if I don’t post something about Max after several days, his club starts missing him and his daily antics,” Chris Browder, with the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter said.
