When a cat named Church gave birth to kittens, Church’s owner planned to bring the kittens to a shelter for adoption once they were old enough to be separated from their mother.
Unfortunately, this mother cat suffered a prolapsed uterus while giving birth. That meant she was unable to nurse her kittens. Fortunately, another cat named Betty stepped in and nursed Church’s kittens in her place. Now Betty is being hailed as a hero for saving these kittens. If you think cats can’t be generous and caring, then you haven’t been around enough cats.
