Female cats can get pregnant easily, much like teenagers, so unless you want to care for a litter of kittens, it’s best to keep your female cat indoors or get her spayed. Still, despite your best efforts, your female cat may find a way to slip outside and get pregnant after a night of partying.

So if your feline comes home and you suspect she might be pregnant, you may want to check for signs that she may be giving birth soon. First, check her eating habits in case she starts eating more. Also pregnant cats tend to get more affectionate and loving.

Just remember, pregnant cats will change their behavior in some way so the earlier you think your cat might be pregnant, the sooner you can get her checked up to make surer her birth goes well. Then your next problem will be to find a way to care for her kittens.
