When Holly Brockwell, 32 and boyfriend Zack Fox, 26, decided to live together back in January 2016, they originally slept together. Within a few weeks, Holly started to sleep in a separate room just so she could sleep with her cat, Mawri.
“I arrange the pillows so she’s between my head and the headboard and she puts her paw on my head so she knows I’m there,” Holly said.
Since the couple has different sleep and work schedules, sleeping in separate rooms hasn’t hurt their relationship any. Best of all, it has strengthened the relationship between Holly and her cat, Mawri. So if the idea of a cat improving your life doesn’t seem possible, ask Holly and Zack.
