Cats can be very expressive except they can’t talk. So when a cat is mad at you, they can’t yell in your face. Instead, cats have to exhibit their anger in other ways.

One common way cats display anger is by growling or scowling in your direction. Angry cats may twitch their tail excessively or even poop on your pillow to get  your attention. Of course, if a person did anything a cat did, you’d likely throw that person out but when a cat does the exact same behavior, it’s somehow acceptable and cute.
