The Oklahoma Zoo has a display of fishing cats and one cat, 11-year old Miri, recently delivered a kitten on March 31 by caesarian delivery. Unfortunately, Miri has shown no maternal instincts so zoo keepers are raising the kitten.
Now the Oklahoma Zoo wants the public’s help in naming the fishing kitten. The following three names have been suggested:
- Angkor (largest temple in Cambodia)
- Puddles (Caretakers’ Choice!)
- Kuttai (meaning “puddles” in Sri Lankan)
