Every cat needs kitty litter. While outdoor cats can soil the outside grounds (usually the neighbor’s yard), indoor cats need a clean place to relieve themselves and that means setting up enough litter boxes around your home.
Unfortunately, constantly buying kitty litter can get expensive. That’s why you might want to try making your own kitty litter out of old newspapers. If you’re one of the few people who still buys and reads newspapers, you can shred them to make your own kitty litter. The only question is whether your cat will accept homemade litter or prefer commercial litter.
