Many people are concerned about their weight, but if you think you have weight problems, you need to see Bronson, a 3-year old cat who weighs a whopping 33 pounds. Megan, 29, and Mike Wilson, 35, adopted the tubby ginger tabby after his previous owner passed away, and now they’re determined to put him on a weight-loss program.

Bronson’s diet goal is to lose one pound a month, eventually settling on weighing around 15 to 18 pounds. That includes eating grain-free wet food and getting more exercise by playing regularly. In other words, diet and exercise is the key to weight loss, just like in humans.

Hopefully Bronson’s weight loss can inspire humans to start losing weight to reach a healthy level that can keep them alive longer so they can adopt more cats.
