Like humans, not all cats are equal. The difference is that cats are all superior to humans, at least in their minds. While you can adopt any type of cat, some people might prefer to adopt unusually large cats. If you have the room, consider some of the following big cats to adopt.
Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest, and Siberian cats are big and fluffy with long hair to keep them warm in cold climates where they originate from. That also means plenty of shedding so you probably don’t want to adopt these cats in warm climates like Phoenix, Arizona.
Adopting a large cat can be fun, but be prepared to take care of them and their larger size and longer hair. As long as you’re ready for that, you can find a furry friend in any size.
