There seems to be holidays for practically everything, which is why today (August 8) has been designated as International Cat Day, an odd holiday that was first celebrated in 2002 to honor the most popular pet in the world.
If you like cats, find a way to celebrate. Get your cat a treat or a toy, or just take the day off and spend it bonding with your feline friend. Then again, cats wold prefer making everyday International Cat Day otherwise known as Human Submission Day so don’t spoil your cat or you may be trapped in serving your cat forever as its servant.
