Donny the cat was born without eyes and with the neurological condition Cerebellar Hyperplasia, which causes him to wobble and fall over when he walks. Despite this, Susan Smith and her husband brought Donny home to their three other blind cats — Ray, Cookie and Blossom — and their blind dog.

After seeing Donny’s fearlessness and cheerful disposition, Susan enrolled Donny into a program so he’s now a certified therapy animal. Donny visits hospitals to enjoy pets and warm laps while helping Alzheimer’s patients in the hospital.

Donny is proof that no matter what you are, you can have a positive impact on others while making something of your own life as well.
