When most people think of someone crazy about cats, they usually think of an old cat lady who dresses poorly and babbles to herself while protecting cats at the expense of her own welfare. While some old women represent the stereotypical cat lady, men can be just as crazy about cats as well.
75-year old Terry Lauerman has become an online sensation after the pet shelter where he volunteers shared photos showing him, dubbed the “Cat Grandpa”, fast asleep while snuggling several of the shelter’s cats. Now calls for adoption have increased as a result.
Who knew that pictures of sleeping cats with a volunteer could prove so popular? Hopefully more people will give cats a good home so they can bring joy to other people’s lives as they drive you up a wall with their behavior.
