Many people like cats, but cats don’t always like people. That’s why if you want to win over the affection of a cat, you have to approach the cat on its terms. That means admitting you’re inferior to the cat and pledging to obey the cat’s wishes at all times.
Generally, you want to pay attention to a cat but not too much. Also take time to play with the cat. The more you train the cat to associate you with good feelings, the more likely the cat will like you, which is no different than the way you can treat people as well. The only difference is that people are less predictable than cats and often moodier too.
