The musical “Cats” was a huge hit and now Steven Spielberg will be the executive producer on the movie version of the musical. Beyond Taylor Swift, the cast of “Cats” now includes James Corden, Judi Dench, Idris Elba,Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Jason Derulo, and Rebel Wilson.
With so many stars performing in “Cats,” the movie version has plenty of talent. Now let’s just hope that the movie version does justice to the stage musical and enthralls a new generation of fans who love musicals and cats.
