Courtney Werblow’s parents lost their entire home when wildfires burned down Paradise, California. When the family fled the flames, they had left behind their cat, Timber. When they returned to see what was left of their home, they found nothing but burned out ruins, but they did find Timber, standing near the ruins.
They quickly rescued Timber and provided the cat with food and water. How the cat managed to survive the wildfire is a mystery, but at least Timber’s survival gave the family hope after they lost all their material possessions. That just proves the real value in life is not material goods but your cat.
