Since cats can’t talk, they have to communicate in other ways and the best way to decipher a cat’s mood is to examine the cat’s body language. For example, when a cat goes away from you, it probably wants to be left alone, just like an angry teenager.

Also watch a cat’s tail and ears. Ears flattened back means the cat’s mad. A tail that’s down also means the cat is not feeling sociable. By understanding how your cat’s thinking, you can get along better with your cat by basically doing what it wants you to do at all times whether you like it or not.
