Many people think that cats are selfish and self-centered, but that’s not always true. Some cats can be as loving and selfless. In Alabama, one cat has proven that the bonds of friendship can be strong.
Shea Belew Brennaman used to own a dog named Gracie, who would make friends with any animal that wandered into the backyard. Two and a half years ago, a cat that Shea nicknamed Baby Grey showed up, and Gracie and Baby Grey became friends immediately, even sharing food together.
Sadly, Gracie passed away over a year ago, but Baby Grey still shows up at the window for their playdates. This shows that cats can bond with others and do exhibit noble traits. While Baby Grey obviously misses Gracie’s company, hopefully the cat will soon find new friends as well.
