In the upcoming “Captain Marvel” movie, Captain Marvel has a pet cat named Goose who protects her. Unfortunately in real life, actress Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel in the movie, is actually allergic to cats.
During filming, film makers had to keep the cat away from her as much as possible, even replacing the cat with a stuffed animal cat when it didn’t need to be part of the action. When Brie Larson touched the cat, someone had to wipe her hands afterwards to make sure she didn’t get sick.
Imagine the strongest superhero in the Marvel universe unable to defend herself against a cat, and that pretty much sums up most people’s life with their own cats as well.
