It’s easy to tell when a person loves a cat, but it’s not as easy to tell when a cat loves a human. That’s because most cats simply see humans as gullible creatures they can easily exploit for their own nefarious purposes, but for those cats who truly do love their owners, they tend to exhibit recognizable signs.
If a cat exposes its belly to you, that’s a sign of trust. Cats also show signs of trust when they lay in your lap, head butts you, or approaches you with its tail straight up in the air. By looking for signs of love, you can reassure yourself that your cat does indeed love you and doesn’t think of you as a gullible sucker to exploit.
