In Toronto, a woman in an apartment wound up hoarding over 300 cats. Animal services had to remove the cats from this woman’s apartment and even found 50 cats hiding inside a couch.

While it’s admirable that someone would want to protect cats, you should only take in as many cats as you can safely and financially care for. After all, you want all cats to have a good life so hoarding too many cats eventually defeats the purpose of saving cats by cramming them in closed quarters without enough room to run and play, or live in a healthy environment.

So the lesson is clear. Don’t hoard cats but take care of as many cats as you can safely house. This way everyone will be happy.
