In the newest version of iOS, the operating system that runs the iPhone, Apple has revealed that a feature that uses machine learning techniques to identify cats and dogs in an image. Now you can take a picture of your kitty and your iPhone will recognize it as the master of your domain.
Apple has been using machine learning for years to identify faces and landmarks in pictures, but with the new iPhone models coming this fall, you’ll soon be able to correctly identify your kitties in pictures too.
