In Ohio, someone surrendered a cat by putting it in a box, taped shut, along with food. Presumably whoever surrendered the cat hoped that by leaving it outside an animal shelter, the shelter would be able to care for the feline.
Unfortunately, the cat clawed its way out of the cardboard box and hasn’t been seen since. Shelter officials urge anyone to contact the facility during working hours to discuss surrendering any animal to provide for the well-being of the cat.
Hopefully this escaped cat will find a good home. All we know for sure is that it was desperate enough to escape from the box that it was trapped in.
