Andrew and Paula Hancock live in Mansfield, England with their 6-year old cat, Shortcake. When the couple came home, they realized they had forgotten to pick up cat food for Shortcake so they drove off to the market.
On the way, they stopped at a gas station and Andrew bought a lottery ticket, which wound up winning the $1.2 million top prize. The couple got so excited that they forgot Shortcake’s food for a second time.
However, when they realized Shortcake was still hungry, they treated the cat to a ham dinner to celebrate the family’s fortune.
