England has several famous cats in high-ranking government buildings. Perhaps the most famous is Larry the cat at 10 Downing Street. Larry has seen off two prime minsters and depending on how long Boris Johnson lasts, Larry may see off a third prime minister.
Besides Larry, there’s also Palmerston, the Foreign Office cat, who Larry often fights with for dominance. Gladstone is the Treasury cat while Evie is the Cabinet Office cat. With so many cats helping run England, you’d think they would be able to put a better Brexit plan together than the humans.
Then again, why should cats do anything when they’ve got human servants who will do everything for them?
