Cats often go outside and eat grass. Then they go inside and throw up. If you think this behavior is odd, then you probably haven’t watched humans drink beer and throw up as well.

However, unlike humans drinking beer, cats actually have a legitimate health reason to eat grass.  The International Society for Applied Ethology in Bergen, Norway believes munching on grass increases muscle activity in the digestive tract to remove parasites. Except, today’s cats likely don’t have these parasites anymore. 

So the next time your cat eats grass and throws up, have a beer and throw up with your cat as well. That way both of you can throw up for no good reason but at least share a bonding moment together.
