Just because something is the law doesn’t mean it’s necessarily right. 79-year old Nancy Segula learned that the hard way when she started feeding stray cats in her neighborhood because they kept her company. Unfortunately, feeding stray cats is against the law in her suburban Cleveland neighborhood.
Now Nancy has been sentenced to ten days in jail. Obviously not everyone agrees that this should be against the law or that anyone should be jailed for feeding stray cats. Hopefully the judge will reverse this sentence since it’s illogical and feeding stray cats is simply humane.
