In Brazil, a stray cat ducked out of the rain and decided to stay in the Order of Attorneys building, which is the Brazilian equivalent of the Bar Association. When people started to complain about the cat’s presence, the attorneys there decided to make the cat, named Leon, a lawyer.
Now if anyone complains that Leon doesn’t belong, Leon can just turn around and sue them for defamation and libel because he does belong. By having a job in the building, Leon now has the legal right to stay as long as he wants.
