Most cats shed. That means brushing your cat and vacuuming up hair that drifts into tumbleweeds along your floors. While most people see shedded car fur as a nuisance, a Japanese couple – photographer Ryo Yamazaki with his wife Hiromi – have found a unique use for the cats’ own shed hair.
The couple takes the shedded fur and uses it to knit hats for their cats. Not only does this get rid of the shedded hair, but it also gives the cats a collection of distinct hats to wear around the house. Who knew cat hair could have so many uses?
