Cats can’t talk, but if they could, they probably wouldn’t have anything to say to anyone anyways. Yet despite this language barrier, cats do communicate with people through different vocal sounds.
For example, a long, drawn out meow acts like a plea. The cat may want something baldy such as food or to go out, or simply to drive you crazy so you can’t do anything else while it’s yowling in your face.
Hissing and spitting is another sound that cats might make when feeling threatened or insecure, or simply because they like to see the confused looks on their human’s faces.
