If you live in the Milwaukee area, be sure to visit the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission’s shelter to adopt a cat. For a limited time, the shelter will waive adoption fees on cats six months or older to encourage more people to adopt an older cat.

All adoptable cats are vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. So all you need to do is show up with a cat carrier, fill out an adoption form, and take home a new friend to dominate your life for the next few years.

Even if you can’t adopt a cat, tell your friends who might be able to adopt one. The more cats put in good homes, the more the shelter can care for other animals.
