Moving to a big city can be frightening because you know nobody and can feel lonely in a crowd. That’s what happened when Yin Yi came to Beijing. To avoid loneliness, he volunteered to help at a can sanctuary and today now runs it.
This cat sanctuary cares for over 150 cats, but more importantly, it has helped Yin Yi feel better and less lonely now that he’s surrounded by cats. Of course, his eventual goal is to get all of these cats good homes but until then, he’s found his calling helping make the lives of cats a little better while making his own life a little better too.
