The common stereotype is that cats and dogs don’t get along, but as any pet owner knows, that’s not always true. In Brookfield, Connecticut, Jada, a British shorthair cat adopted a newborn Chihuahua after the dog’s mother abandoned the puppy.
The puppy, named Lazarus, had no mother to care for it. When Jada recently gave birth and lost a kitten, she quickly adopted Lazarus as one of her own.
