For too many years, black cats have gotten a bad reputation as bad luck by superstitious people. Yet the truth is that the color of a cat makes no difference because black cats can be as lovable as any other color cat.

That’s why October 27 has been declared National Black cat Day. That’s the day when you can honor a black cat by either adopting one or being nice to one. The more people realize black fur doesn’t mean bad luck, the sooner the human race can get past racism in human skin color as well.
