Cheryl Yates, a woman from Ontario, Canada, recently had to put her 88-year-old father, Bob, in hospice care as it goes through the final stages of dementia. While he was alive, Bob loved cats so Cheryl decided to give him a robotic cat to keep him company since he couldn’t care for a real cat.

Not surprisingly, Bob loves his robotic cat. This just goes to show that no matter what happens to a person’s mind, they’ll still be able to love cats whether they’re real or not.
