In Upton, Merseyside, England, employees at a Sainsbury supermarket were shocked to spot a cat stranded on the beams across the ceiling 40 feet off the ground. No one knows how the cat climbed so high but by using a pulley system, the employees managed to raise cage and rescue the cat.

The 9-year old cat, named Ellie, was returned to her owners through a microchip found in Ellie. Hopefully the cat will stay home and avoid high places that might strand it where it can’t get down again.
