With so many people isolated at home due to the coronavirus, people are bored at home. That’s why animal shelters have seen a dramatic spike in adoptions as people look for a companion for their home.

Of course the danger is that if people don’t have jobs, they may not have the money to care for a pet. Hopefully once people get a pet, they’ll want to keep it even if they do go back to work and get out of the house.

So adopt a pet but make sure you will care for it after the pandemic is over. You’ll find that any pet can make your home a better place for everyone.
