44-year-old comedian and actor, Russell Brand, revealed that his cat, Morrissey, passed away over the weekend. Russell had Morrissey for 17 years and said his cat helped him through the darkest times of his life, which could possibly be during his marriage and subsequent breakup from Katy Perry.
Losing a cat is hard on anyone, especially a pet who has been a constant and faithful companion for so many years. Hopefully Russell will adopt a new cat and find joy with a new pet.
