Kristina Shramko, a 21-year-old Canadian citizen, lived under lockdown in Wuhan, China, for 76 days. Her boyfriend was on a business trip when authorities locked down the city. Kristina had a chance to fly back to Canada but refused when the flight banned pets.
So Kristina stayed locked down in Wuhan with her cat, Kitya. Together the two of them lived in her apartment, spending time reading books, talking to friends, and watching movies. Kristina also filmed and edited videos for her YouTube channel.
Now that Wuhan is relaxing restrictions, Kristina is able to move more freely. Thankfully she and her cat survived, but that just goes to show you the loyalty people have towards their cats.
