Curt Rush, who lives in Georgia, loves his cats. While many cat lovers might build their cats a special patio dubbed a catio, Rush went one step further and built his ‘Chateau de Chatons’ which roughly translates to ‘the Kitten’s Castle’ in French.
Rush’s catio consists of a drinking fountain, large scratching post, a few pieces of furniture even cat-sized ones, a hammock, and a ramp that leads to a ‘catwalk’ that connects to a ‘penthouse perch’ that sits up in a nearby tree. With such an exotic catio, his cats can get outside and stay safe at the same time.
