Devi Larsen owns a big gray cat named Loki, who is very friendly. “When people who don’t tend to like cats come over,” Devi said, “he always changes their opinions of them since he’s so social and loves meeting new people.”
To keep Loki happy and safe, Devi would tie Loki outside on a leash so he could enjoy the outdoors without the risk of getting lost or hurt outside of the yard. One day Devi heard a fight and rushed out to find Loki fighting a cat that looked exactly like himself.
Devi managed to separate the two cats and has now vowed to build Loki a catio to keep him safe from his doppelgänger. Perhaps Loki didn’t like the idea of seeing himself.
