If you need to travel with your cat, the key is to keep your cat feeling secure and that means bringing along comfort items that has the cat’s scent on it such as blankets or toys. The reason is that cats feel a need for security and being in an unfamiliar place with strange scents can frighten them.
However if you bring along familiar items, then the cat won’t feel as lost in a strange place. Take along small comfort items like toys, beds, or small scratching pads. The happier your cat is while traveling, the happier you will be too.
