It’s no surprise that people love cats and also love conspiracy theories. So it was only a matter of time before people would combine the two and come up with a conspiracy theory involving cats.
The most popular cat conspiracy theory claims that cats are aliens sent to record the human race. As proof that cats are aliens, people say there are no records of cats existing before ancient Egypt and that scientists still don’t know why cats purr. Hence cats must be aliens.
If this logic makes sense to you, then you will likely believe anything based on scant evidence and giant leaps of faith. Then again, it’s not logical to own a cat either so at least conspiracy theories give you something to think about while taking care of your cat.
