Scientists have already identified a parasite that supposedly makes mice unafraid of cats, letting the cats catch them easier. While there’s no proof that parasites can make people crazy, people are often crazy enough around cats.
One man posted an embarrassing story about himself. While standing in line at a pet store, he and his partner noticed a bunch of cats in the pet adoption center. The man’s sister’s nickname is Kat and she volunteers in the adoption center so they often see the cats she’s helped socialize.
So when the man pointed to the cages filled with cats and kept asking, “Are these Kat’s? I think these are Kat’s,” people in line stared at him as if he had lost his mind. When he realized what he had said and how it looked, he realized how badly he had embarrassed himself in front of others.
