Cats love to climb trees although they often find it difficult to climb back down again. One cat, named Cookie, managed to get itself stuck in a tree for days and resisted efforts to get it down.
When a cherry picker failed to reach far enough to retrieve the cat, a scaffolding company build ramps around the tree to allow the cat to come down by itself. When the cat only made it to the top plank, rescuers managed to retrieve it and bring it safely down.
So the lesson is that cats need to learn not to get themselves stuck. The second lesson is that scaffolding could be a viable solution if all else fails.
