Cats roaming freely outside can kill birds and cause havoc around the neighborhood. That’s why British Columbia is considering a law forcing cat owners to put their felines on a leash if they’re outside.
The purpose of this law is to reign in cats and keep them from having unlimited freedom to cause havoc. While authorities say they won’t heavily enforce this idea, they do want more cat owners to be responsible for their felines and keep them under control as much as possible.
