It’s no surprise that the movie version of “Cats” bombed horribly at the box office. What is surprising is that an A-list cast combined with a popular musical and an award winning director could turn out such a lousy product.
Judi Dench played a prominent role in “Cats” and apparently didn’t enjoy her experience. If the movie had been a hit, then everyone would have likely kept their feelings in check, but now that the movie is acknowledged as a bomb, it’s amusing to hear what the actors really thought of performing in “Cats.” The big question is why didn’t they think that way before they signed up for the role?
